Booms (telescopic)
Mobile Elevated Work Platform, Aerial Work Platform, Tele-boom, Aerial Boom or Boom Lift
Telescopic boom lifts (also known as tele-booms, straight-booms or stick booms) are very close in appearance to a crane. This type of MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) is different to the articulated boom in that the boom is not jointed.
This type of MEWP is now widely used for maintenance and construction of all types, including extensively in the power and telecommunications industries to service overhead lines, and in arboriculture to provide an independent work platform on difficult or dangerous trees.
We hire self-propelled, diesel powered, telescopic boom lifts up to 17m working height. 4WD available. We can supply many more machines than are listed here. If you can not see what you want, call us. We will be happy to find the most appropriate machine for your needs.
