Expansion to Berkshire

We are expanding our horizons at Southern Cranes & Access! We are opening a new depot in Reading. This new depot will enable us to improve our coverage of Berkshire and beyond.

Along with our established depots in Sussex and London, this means our coverage is now greatly extended. No matter where you are, we can get a machine to you.

Included in the machinery available from this depot is a Terex Demag AC80, and the ever poplar City AC30.

220 tonne Grove in the fleet

Southern Cranes are pleased to be able to add the massive Grove GMK5220 to our fleet. This five-axle, all-terrain crane offers a 220 tonne maximum capacity coupled with a 68 metre, TWIN-LOCK boom. Inserts and swing-away further increase tip height to 108 metres. The fully automatic ALLISON transmission, combined with MEGATRAK independent suspension system, ensures optimal performance both on and off-road.

Book the Tadano ATF50G now with Southern Cranes

Southern Cranes & Access have also added the Tadano ATF50G to their fleet of cranes. This crane has a reach of 54 metres, and a maximum lift of 50 tonnes. Call us on 01798 875988 to hire this machine.

SCA go to the Regatta

The new Grove GMK5220 and our existing Terex Demag AC200 are already working together. They were called in to service to help with the set up of Henley Regatta.

This world famous annual event has been running since 1839. This year, the Henley Royal Regatta will run from Wednesday 30th June to Sunday 4th July. Learn more about Henley regatta here.
