Once again, Southern Cranes & Access have been asked to assist with the Goodwood Festival of Speed event set-up and breakdown with a multitude of heavy lifting tasks.

A new addition to our fleet! 

Introducing our Liebherr LTM 1300-6.4 – our brand new six-axle mobile crane with a fresh cab design and new LICCON3 control system. One of many new mobile cranes added to our fleet in recent times to keep up with demand.
 

Once again, Southern Cranes & Access were asked to assist with the central feature installation at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025 – this year celebrating 60 years of Gordon Murray's automotive designs.

This steel sculpture designed by renowned artist, Gerry Judah, the sculpture measured 22 metres high x 31 metres wide and weighed 76 tonnes.

Southern Cranes has taken delivery of the first of two new Liebherr MK140-5.1 tower cranes as part of its fleet renewal process.

Southern Cranes are delighted to announce that it has collected another three brand new Grove GMK3060L mobile cranes from Manitowoc Cranes in Buckingham.

Southern Cranes are delighted to announce that they are the headline sponsor for the UK's Strongest Man 2024, taking place on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th June at Vindico Arena, Cardiff.

The show will be broadcast LIVE on Channel 5, 2pm-5pm on both days – a world first for Strongman, which historically has always appeared on TV screens several months later.

Southern Cranes has added 10 new Grove all-terrain cranes to support its ongoing growth strategy and update the fleet of mobile cranes.

Southern Cranes is already very familiar with the GMK5250XL-1, having been the first in the UK to receive this model. The GMK5150XL is a new addition to the fleet and will bring increased work opportunities to the company. The GMK3060L-1 is also a new model for Southern Cranes which will serve alongside several existing GMK3060 cranes in the fleet.
